Having taken up Canal Art many years ago, I found there are only so many times you can give work away as presents without people getting feed up with it. So if the hobby was to continue, the question was, what do I do with the work and how can I continue to finance the hobby? The answer was to try selling a few items at Craft Shows but that become a catch 22 situation as I need to keep painting to provide enough variety of work to put into a show. Success at Craft Shows is rather up & down and its rare to get back what you have put in if you were to take account of the time spent on painting each item.

My Canal Art work and Photographs can be seen and purchased at a number of Craft Shows in the Essex area, throughout the year.

I apply Canal Art decoration to a variety of items and in most cases the design is unique to that particular item. As photography has interested me for many years  I also take a variety of photographic prints and A5 greeting cards to Shows.
